Workout Journal Notes
The fields were pretty full today at the park because of fall soccer. Luckily, they were only using about half of one of the back fields for practice, so I was able to squeeze in along the baseline.
The good thing about soccer season is that the fields are freshly painted, so it’s easier to use the lines as yard-markers.
I did 60’s today, and my goal from yesterday was 10, since I was only able to do about 8 several weeks ago, before starting my speed camp training.
The endurance I’ve built up in the meantime continues to pay off, as I was able to knock out 12 strong sprints.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how the cardio change-up affects my measurements tomorrow.
Will the more condensed HIIT-style help me maintain more mass, while still burning some body fat, or will the lack of a power speed camp session leave too many calories on the table?
Tune in tomorrow to find out!
