Today’s Workout Log

Warm-up

  • 30 minutes of dynamic stretching and soft tissue work

Workout

Superset 1 (Do one set of first exercise, then immediately to first set of second exercise, then rest for 2 minutes, and repeat…)

  • Incline Bench Press – 45 pounds – Sets: 8/8/8
  • Trap Bar Deadlift – 45 pounds – Sets: 8/8/8

Superset 2

  • Squat – 45 pounds – Sets: 8/8/8
  • Neutral Grip Pullups – Bodyweight – Sets: 8/6/5

Workout Journal Notes

Finally, it’s good to be back on schedule! This was my first day back in the weight room in a few weeks, so I’m starting off slowly, easing back into the heavier weights.

I’m concentrating on “The Big 4″ exercises for now, and I’ll be alternating set/rep schemes to keep things fluid.

I’m excited to have my monumental binge behind me and looking forward to bigger and better results!
