Today’s Workout Log

Off Day

Workout Journal Notes

I was pleasantly surprised again to find that I wasn’t sore at all this morning, even after yesterday’s insanely grueling workout.

Since I always feel strangely empty on off days, like I have nothing to do, I decided to switch things up a bit.

I was going to wait until next week to get an even start, but why wait, let’s do it now!

After seeing the great results of my low-carb approach over the last few weeks, I’m going to step it up a notch and consume less than 100 grams of carbohydrates per day.

It’s not going to be a true ketogenic diet, because those are generally required to be 50 grams per day or less, and I’ll be closer to 80 or 90.

I’m hoping to get most of the benefits of very low-carbs, without the extremity and minor side effects of a very low-carb diet.

As always, I’ll evaluate the results as I go along and adjust accordingly.

Today, I decided to carb-up to get me through at least the next week of sub-100-carb-gram days.

I will have topped out at over 600 carbs by the end of the day, so I’ll enjoy it until tomorrow morning!
