This week really flew by for some reason — so much so, that I barely realized tomorrow was speed camp day.
I had originally planned on doing a lighter version of “Heavy Load Friday” today, but since my calves have failed me two weeks in a row, I opted for some more stretching and tissue work instead.
Last week, I noticed the pain in my right calf at the very beginning of warm-ups for the morning speed camp, so I’ll know right away if it’s improved since then.
Even last week was better than the week before, so I’m really hoping it has gotten progressively stronger and won’t hinder my workouts at all this week.
I’ll be up bright and early, so I can get plenty of calories in before the early 7:30am start.
Check back tomorrow to see if my calves could take the heat!
