Today’s Workout Log
Off Day and 24-hour fast
Workout Journal Notes
Feeling free and experimental after completing “Maximum Strength,” I decided, on a whim, to try a 24-hour fast.
I’ve heard and read a lot about intermittent fasting and was curious to see if I could even do it.
My last meal was last night at 9:30PM and it’s now been nearly 24 and a half hours.
I haven’t eaten anything at all today, while only drinking water.
Surprisingly, it was extremely easy, and I haven’t been hungry at all! In fact, I could easily go to sleep without a meal, pushing the running duration to 30 hours or more, but I figure I might as well eat now, until I read and research more about fasting in general.
From the small bits and pieces I’ve read, it does seem to have several benefits, but I’ll definitely be looking into it more after this experiment went so shockingly well.
Anyone else tried intermittent fasting? What are your thoughts?
