Workout Journal Notes

Finally, I’ve officially started the Maximum Strength program!

This week, I’m going through week 1 with very light weights to ensure I have proper form and get familiar with each new exercise.

That’s always a good strategy when you begin a new routine.

I loved the change and feel completely reinvigorated to be beginning something so new.

I haven’t followed a laid out workout plan in quite a while, so I’m excited to see just how much strength I can gain.

Two new things in today’s routine were the box squats and doing EIGHT sets of another exercise, neither of which I had ever done before.

For the box squats, I used a kitchen chair, and they were easy with just the bar, but I can see they are going to be a lot more difficult once I add on the weights!
