Workout Journal Notes
It was definitely cold enough to break out the ColdGear ninja suit this morning, and it was awesome because I actually felt very comfortable the whole time.
I learned from my mistake on Wednesday and doubled up on the socks, so today I was warm from head to toe, even though it was only about 40 degrees.
I’m amazed at how my endurance and conditioning continues to improve, and I lead the pack by quite a bit today, even with 3 of the guys that usually set the pace coming back.
I hadn’t seen them for a few weeks, so it felt great to see my progress showing itself and feeling so tangible.
I kept a comfortable 10 to 20 second lead over even the 2nd place person, while I lapped a few of the new guys.
I’m not trying to brag at all and I really like everyone in our group, but I just love to see real, tangible results.
Today’s course was one of the longer ones that we’ve done, as it was spread over about half of the huge field we use, but, luckily, we only did 3 circuits at a time.
I can’t say enough how much I’m loving the new keto diet, and I’m amazed at how my energy has not only not decreased, but actually increased a lot on less than 100 grams of carbs per day.
I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s measurements, as they will be the first official ketogenic stats, since I started the diet about 10 days ago.
