Workout Journal Notes

Today was the first day of Week 3 of Phase 1. There are 4 Phases total, consisting of 4 weeks each.

For this phase, Weeks 1-4 are classified as High Load, Medium, Very High, and Low, respectively, so today began the Very High week!

That’s an accurate label, since I did nearly 100 total reps.

I was on a bit of tight schedule today, so I did only a quick warm-up, but I’ll be sure to make up for the missed soft-tissue work tonight, because I want to keep that streak going to keep the results building on themselves.

Everything felt great, and I even did Straight-Leg Raises for the first time in a while, instead of Hanging Knee Raises.

I used to not be able to do even one, so I was surprised to crank out a total of 15 today!

I’ll stick with those until I can build up to at least 3 sets of 10.

I also set a new personal best for Dead Hangs at 73 seconds.

And “The Dark Knight” yesterday in IMAX was amazing! Even if you’ve already seen it in a regular theater like I had, it’s easily worth it to experience the incredible sound and picture of the IMAX version.

I also ended up walking about 3-4 miles up and down the beach after the movie was over.
