Today’s Workout Log
Off Day
Workout Journal Notes
I’m certainly not complaining, but it does feel a little strange to have 3 off days in a row.
I can’t remember the last time I’ve taken more than 1 in a long time, and it’s only going to end up being technically 1 this time too.
There’s no specific guidelines in “Maximum Strength” about what to do for these 3 days leading up to the final “Moving Day” tests, but obviously, the idea is to rest up for peak performance on Saturday.
So, I took today completely off, then I’m going to do the full warm-up and a very short body-weight workout tomorrow, followed by another day of complete rest on Friday.
That should give me plenty of downtime, while still firing up the engines tomorrow, even if only for a brief period.
I’m really excited to get to “Moving Day” and see where my new 1-rep Max’s are this time around!
