Two Changes: 1 Physical, 1 Dietary - What were the results?

So, I went from 2 speed camps per week down to a whopping zero this week, but I adjusted my diet by compacting my carbs to keep them in a tighter post-exercise window.

Two significant and conflicting adjustments, so what kind of results did they produce?
